Grasnek Pass (South Africa)

Grasnek Pass is a pass in the region of Northern Cape, South Africa, located in Mpumalanga, with an average elevation of 1,209 meter above sea level. The pass follows the tight curves of the twisty contours and is often in the shadow, which means a respite from the baking sun. These passes are hell in January (which is summer in South Africa).



At the top of Grasnek Pass there’s is a lookout point which affords a fine vista of the ruggedness of the terrain.
