With a total length of 60km, Via del Sale is an old military road, between Monesi and Limone (Italy). Among many roads that connected the ancient Liguria and Piedmont to France, this is one of the most famous and popular. This road has humbled many egos. It’s not for the sissies and shouldn’t be attempted by novice drivers.
In the far western corner of Kosovo, beyond the town of Peja (or Peć, as it is known to Serbs), there’s a narrow pass that enters one of the most spectacular areas in the Balkans: the Rugova Gorge, where granite walls vault 609 meters (2,000 feet) above the Drini River. A short 0,7miles section of Pennsylvania Route 61 (PA 61) is officially destroyed, in the town of Centralia, in Columbia County, Pennsylvania, United States. It’s an old train bridge crossing the Vitim River which leaves drivers precariously navigating a tiny six-foot-wide path. Its old metal structure is covered with rotting wooden planks, which can be slippery due to frequent ice in the area.
Mineral Bottom is a 16 miles trail, located in Grand County, Utah (USA), driveable all year round. On August 19th, 2010, severe storms caused flash flooding and rock falls that blocked or washed away roads throughout the Canyonlands area. There is little room for error on this road. It's normal for your palms to sweat looking at those photos.

Don’t stuff your belly too much. Eventually, you might feel vomiting temptations while climbing circuitous roads at higher altitudes.
